When inside a tent, he sees himself as being indoors (albeit in a flimsy building), whereas I see myself as being outdoors (albeit sheltered). In Lojbanic terms, I think he sees a tent primarily as bukydu'u, whereas I see it primarily as bukmra. -zefram
