It *is* clear, because /RESPA/ is not a valid pronunciation of {respa}. All non-penultimate syllables in a brivla must be unstressed. The ambiguity occurs with, for example, /LOkreBUKpu/, which could be divided into words as either {lo krebukpu} or {lokre bukpu}. -zefram
