It seems to have come a long way in support since the days when little was known about it outside of Iowa (I wrote a Loglan paper about it while I was hibernating in Iowa City about 1980 -- never published). It is an a priori language in the fine old tradition of Sir Thomas Urqhart and Rabelais inter alia, though more pronounceable than theirs. Most Lojban gismu translate (if at all -- I never worked some out and that was for Loglan) to about seven syllables as I recall. --- Jocelyn Paine wrote: > > I've come across some meaning representations > built around semantic > primes, but not AUI.
