I take {lo'i} to be for mathematical sets, so I don't really ever use it. > "the safety of immigrants" > { lo ka loi fange xabju cu no'e kau snura } > That's a guess. I wish there were a question word in NAhE... I don't use {ka} without an explicit or implicit {ce'u}, so I'd say {lo du'u xu kau lo fange xabju cu snura}. The English might be closer to {lo ka xu kau ce'u snura kei pe lo fange xabju}, but in Lojban that's more complicated and less precise. Some people use {jei} for {du'u xu kau}, so that would give {lo jei lo fange xabju cu snura}. > "the treatment of immigrants" > { lo ka loi fange xabju cu no'e kau xamgu se broda } > Umm... at least it parses zo'o {frigau}: x1 makes x2 undergo experience x3 x1 treats x2 in manner x3 mu'o mi'e xorxes To unsubscribe from this list, send mail to lojban-list-request@lojban.org with the subject unsubscribe, or go to http://www.lojban.org/lsg2/, or if you're really stuck, send mail to secretary@lojban.org for help.
