Or {lo masti be li pa}, which is the default anyway. ({pa masti} could in principle be {pa masti be li ci} for example, so it is no more precise than {lo masti} for duration. {pa masti} says that this could happen in exactly one of all the months and in no other, which is not really what is wanted here. The generic {lo masti}, or {lo masti be li pa} is better.) > John is right here. I intended "after" meaning. That is, "a month" is > the interval of conquering coming to the completion. From the English > original, I think the intended meaning is "because the land is like > a long-ago world" (implying it's easy to conquer), not "because there > are so many riches". Perhaps I was too vague in translating. Then {ze'i lo masti [be li pa]}: "In merely a month". > Can ZEhA specify the interval like "a month"? Not that "a month" is so > important that it can't be replaced by "medium interval" (or "short interval") > here, but I'd like to know. ZEhA are similar to {fi'o temci}. In jbovlaste, I have defined them as: ze'i = fi'o cmalu krafamtei ze'a = fi'o krafamtei ze'u = fi'o barda krafamtei where krafamtei = x1 is the duration (time from start to finish) of x2. So {fi'o temci lo masti} is quite correct, but {ze'i lo masti} adds the indication that the duration is a short one, that it is merely a month. mu'o mi'e xorxes To unsubscribe from this list, send mail to lojban-list-request@lojban.org with the subject unsubscribe, or go to http://www.lojban.org/lsg2/, or if you're really stuck, send mail to secretary@lojban.org for help.
