The (unofficial) solution implemented by camxes for fu'ivla compounding is: (1) add {'y} to a fu'ivla to make a non-final rafsi (the fu'ivla by itself works as a final rafsi). (2) any rafsi attached to the front of a fu'ivla rafsi must end in {y} (i.e. it must be a 4-letter rafsi or a CVC rafsi or another fu'ivla rafsi) (3) if the fu'ivla starts with a glottal stop, change it to {'} when used non-initially. Example: {barda zei .iglu zei prenu} = {bardy'iglu'ypre} mu'o mi'e xorxes To unsubscribe from this list, send mail to lojban-list-request@lojban.org with the subject unsubscribe, or go to http://www.lojban.org/lsg2/, or if you're really stuck, send mail to secretary@lojban.org for help.
