I think an opportunity is a situation, a state of affairs, not a property. An opportunity may be a situation that confers the property of being possible, but the opportunity is not that property. We can say "the trip was an opportunity (=a favorable context) to spend more time with him" or "the trip provided the possibility to spend more time with him", but not "the trip was the property of spending time with him being possible". So perhaps "xagnuncu'i", "x1 is a favorable situation of x2 being possible". Or, if you want to use "xaurkamcu'i", then something like "xaurkamcumsabji", but that sounds too long. mu'o mi'e xorxes To unsubscribe from this list, send mail to lojban-list-request@lojban.org with the subject unsubscribe, or go to http://www.lojban.org/lsg2/, or if you're really stuck, send mail to secretary@lojban.org for help.
