I don't see 1.5 year olds sitting in a classroom learning about prepositions, they just get it by being around people using them. Although some people argue that adults can do that too if they're completel= y immersed in a culture that speaks the target language. This is contrary to everything I've heard or read about children le= arning their first language. =A0Second languages are a different matter, pe= rhaps.

Children manage in the first few years of life to learn a language flue= ntly from scratch. =A0No other age group can claim that.
