It seems that there're a few non-official forums here in China, but of small scope. And few Chinese Lojban materials are available. That's why I have to learn it from English here. In addition I haven't known yet if there's an organization trying to popularize it. My guess is that you are the only person trying to popularize it (at this time). And you are very welcome to continue asking questions about lojban. Although the mailing list is probably too slow. I suggest you go to the irc channel #lojban at freenode. Yeah, you are right, that's Mandarin, or as is often spoken of as Putonghua which derives from Beijing dialect. You are almost certainly not the first one to try. I am currently trying to learn mandarin. I find it very difficult though!
