There are a million proposals, one I've done, three Lakmeer has done, and probably a few thousand more aside. I think the idea is that 80% of the planet can read Roman letters, which makes it 80% accessible to the entire planet, and 80% easier to learn. That being said, we're not going to stop you from using any of them for your own pleasure.
