You'll have to ask get.oren why he wrote it. I don't know. But it is actually useful, if only because the definitions do need editing. The definitions for the gismu are often far too long for smart.fm's flashcards, which causes the tailing portion to be cut off, and the jbofi'e phrases still need to be looked over. For example, the gismu list {binxo} definitio= n is "x1 becomes/changes/converts/transforms into x2 under conditions x3", which is too long for the card, and so was simplified to "x1 transforms int= o x2 under conditions x3". I'm sorry, what are you talking about? =C2=A0What program? =C2=A0Why wo= uld
Lindar run it; Lindar just dropped out? =C2=A0I'm *totally* lost.

I recall him saying he was busy, but I don&#= 39;t remember him saying he wasn't going to.

My question was intended to be a largely rhetorical shot at Lindar,
btw. =C2=A0I'm assuming the next step is for either someone else to off= er
to do the recording, or for us to just use espeak (possibly to
replace later).

I don't have a prob= lem with the espeak audio being used, but I looked at the files Dag uploade= d, and it''s not what's needed: it's every word individuall= y, including cmavo, not the list needed for sma= rt.fm, so most of it is unusable, (everything but the gismu), and audio= for the majority of items is still needed (, all the sumti-fied gismu).

Why did anyone even write tinyurl.com/smartfmgismu ? =C2=A0I don't
understand why simplifying things for smart.fm is a good idea at
all, and even if it is, it can be done with a few minutes'
scripting, or pulling the data from jbofihe (which already has
phrases for all the gismu places).

I'm going to quote= myself: "I can't do this myself due to not having access to my co= mputer...."
