       I have started to correspond with someone using nothing but
   lojban.  This situtation leads to mountains of questions .... I am
   left with very mixed emotions.  ... consumes a terribly large
   amount of bandwidth.  However, given that I did receive wrong
   answers, it is not clear that even questions as trivial as that are
   a waste of our time and resources.

Not a waste.  I am interested in the questions and even more in the
answers.  Perhaps you can write in such a way as to reduce the number
of questions to a manageable flow ... :-)

One request: whenever you post Lojban, *please* include an English
word for word translation.  I often do not have the time to look up
words I don't know.  If you include the word-for-word, I will be much
more likely to read the message.
