For explanation to a lot of people, including Dave , conlang is indeed
an acronym for "constructed language" -apparently one that people who invent
them are now using to avoid the stigma associated with the term 'artificial'
language.  Same difference to me, and same stigma.


conlang is also the name of another mailing list, independent of lojban-list
which a lot of people on lojban-list are also part of.  The thread on
what is a language started on that list, but I cross-posted my response so
as to make the other lojban-list recipients aware of what I think are 
significant statemnets on my position regarding Lojban - as I then used in
response to jimc's comments on lujvo meanings.
