Some office in Novgorod will be closed till the end of the month, and the adoption cannot be completed till then. So there is no reason to go this much sooner. (Also, there had been some delays in my Vvisa p processing, and this will make sure that gets done as well.) So I now expect to be monitoring Lojban List until approximately 29 September or maybe even till 1 October (they told me not to book a new flight until they get the paperwork from Russia for the visa). I still will be gone 3 weeks whenever I actually do leave. The added time means that I am more likely to get orders mailed before leaving (for those who are waiting), and I expect to put some time into preparing JL17, which I had given up on doing prior to this delay. But I wanty JL17 to go out somewhere close to on time, even if it is a bit shorter than it would otherwise be. lojbab
