I can't see this becoming colloquial Lojban, but then there's a lot of the ma'oste that isn't likely to become colloquial either. At first blush I thought the argument for a universal time interval was false, but it does make sense after all. I'm not convinced that 'vague time interval' is useless, and I think the universal will lead to some ramifications of cmavo reinterpretation, but what the hey, I'll support it.
