X-Mozilla-Status: 0010 Oh, the glosses WILL be interleaved in the dictionary. I just didn;t want to add to the file length at this stage when the list is being trnsferred multiple times over the net. But for me, doing anything with unix files is not always easy. When you send through Lojban List, the lines get wrapped, and I have to chop mailer info out (--more--?, etc.) from my capture file, and then have to turn you tab delimied file into something with fixed length fields so I can READ it. We may not want optimal forms for ALL words. After all, optimal is determined by a rather stupid scoring algorithm that we may not agree with in all cases. I certainly prefer le'avla to lebvla, though this might be because it has become sacred - but bvl ain't a nice cluster in any case. So we will have tyo have SOME multiple entries. I would rather minimize them especially for words that haven't seen much usage. We also need to maintain traceability from original word to whatever we decide in each case, so that we can backfit into old texts should we decide to update them in the future. lojbab
