As I understand it: ko'a dunda le cakla fi'o bapli le mamta = ko'a dunda le cakla bai le mamta ko'a fi'o bapli fe'u dunda le cakla = ko'a bai dunda le cakla i.e. The sumti tagged by {fi'o (selbri) fe'u} corresponds to the x1 place of (selbri). Then {fi'o bapli fe'u} is like {bai} {fi'o se purci fe'u} like {pu} {fi'o se balvi fe'u} like {ba} etc. For ZAhOs there are two rules, depending on the place of the tag: {fi'o fanmo fe'u} is like {mo'u} when it tags a selbri, but not when it tags a sumti. {fi'o se fanmo fe'u} is like {mo'u} when it tags a sumti, but not when it tags a selbri. Is this right? Jorge
