In fact I think this scheme helps to clarify the concepts being discussed. Many of the connotations and denotations of the English word "spiritual" are stripped away by narrowing the concept to fit in this matrix. Now, how do we narrow the myriad meanings of "political". One view comes to mind because of Jorge's taxonomy: the column headings change from self & others to a) the individual in isolation, b) the individual in relation to others, and c) the collective.
