But it does make me think again of an archimedean screw, one design for which is a plastic tube wrapped round a spindle (lo tubnu cu te klupe fo lo jendu?) but is no kind of fastener. In fact, if we think of a screw fastener, I don't find the ve klupe to be a likely or natural tergismu at all. Colin
