(this was exactly reproduced in discussions on our side)

le mrenu ga tera

is proposed by LeC to mean

"The men I have in mind were a threesome"

which I would express by

lea me le mrenu ga tera

but of course

le mrenu ga tera

actually asserts that

"each of the men I have in mind is a set with three elements"

This is a canonical example of a situation where the construction I
propose is needed and constructions anologous to those in natural
languages lead to absurdity.
