Just out of curiosity, would you use the Russian future perfective for
the falling ball example, where you stop it before it actually falls?
The Lojban inchoative pu'o should work very similarly to the Russian
future imperfect, which is usually pu'o, and occasionally perhaps bapu'o,
       ^^
       I mean perfective

I learned Russian tenses bearing Lojban tense structure in mind, and thus far
have done pretty well.  But I don't have any clear instincts on this example.
