I wasn't sure if I should read between the lines or translate as literally
as possible.  {za'o} isn't good for "final" as such, but I got the feeling
from the text that it was sort of a fluke that the voice was continuing,
even though everything else was destroyed.  So it was continuing past the
point when it "should" have been destroyed -- hence {za'o}.
