Bob mentioned that he filtered on the basis of the FROM line in the header. That solution does not work for me, as his was the only message I've received that had anything identifying lojban in the FROM line. I found that the SENDER line has the listserver identifier, but I don't normally see that line as I have my reader (Netscape) set for abbreviated headers. I suppose the solution in my case is to buckle down and learn how to use procmail to presort my incoming mail, but for the non-UNIX users this probably is not an alternative. As a temporary palliative, we could preface our messages with something like the initial line I have used. At least this would immediately identify the message and allow one to toss it into a lojban folder without having to read several paragraphs. This would allow me, at least, to keep working without losing my train of thought, and to read my lojban mail during lunch or at other slow periods. (Of course, as the group becomes more fluent and writes in lojban rather than english, a quick glance at the text will be sufficient) I'm sure this group has discussed the alternative of creating a newsgroup as opposed to having listserved mail. Since I could not find such a group, I assume the problem was that people could become isolated because their news server might not carry the group. - Karl -- The avalanche has already begun.
