(My experience is limited >to the hack&slash DikuMUD type, but I understand that MOO is quite widely >used for this sort of thing.) There used to be a Lojban room on MediaMOO, ages ago... I remember I programmed some verbs there to handle cmene; even checked the cmene for validity and used "la cmen." or "la'o gy. Character Name gy." as appropriate (if you have a special Lojban name set on your character that is) when people spoke, etc etc. Dunno what ever became of it; been a long time. Hack&Slash-style DikuMUD or LPMud is probably not the Right Thing for a Lojban environment, but a MUSH or MOO would work quite well. Besides, I tend to prefer those anyway. I certainly know what it takes to run a MUSH (I'm one of the admins of the KLI's MUSH that someone mentioned) and rather like MOOs, though they take a bit more getting used to. ~mark -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: 2.6.2 Comment: Processed by Mailcrypt 3.4, an Emacs/PGP interface iQB1AwUBMz7FxsppGeTJXWZ9AQEw/gL/eTKW259YIgpJ0QlH1rkX1eLnYC140CZY jnlZudqRQmYMAUxfWJ24Ua1ciWfPvtD+1Rx5Kpdfa3vxMIyJtizBnw2MAifOz1wD 2Z2LctL7pxD8DmInuIIbNzA/6DCQI1oj =nhWQ -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
