Question: is {la feraris.} the appropriate way to refer to the brand
name of a car?

I think when we refer to {la rik.} or {la robin.}, it is understood that
there is only one Rick or one Robin.  (Although several people can have
the same name, they are all different people.  Hmmm, what about clones?)
But what about a class of identical objects?
