One sense of  the English word "becoming" can be translated to lojban by
applying tense markers to a predicate.

Another sense of "becoming" seems distinct from the meanings which can be
achieved by tenses. In English, "transition" seems like the best word to
describe this sense of "becoming"

Since the tense system in lojban is very rich and overlaps with the first
sense of the English "becoming", I would suggest that <binxo> is more
useful as a way of translating the second sense of becoming: transitioning.
