I was pleased to find that I retained nearly everything I learned and was able to make halfway credible posts on IRC. So I decided to write a few small things with the aid of the Grammar Bible. I wanted to use the tense cmavo as much as could be tolerated, and not invent too many lujvo. (One out of two ain't bad.) I find I have also retained the ability to "think" in Lojban, at least to the degree that I understand the language. So here it is. Just a small blue thing, as Suzanne Vega would say, provided you have set your monitors' colors that way. ======================== le miri nunxru la lojban ======================== ni'o puzuki mi pu co'ajedi'ice'o clire la lojban .i jeku'ibo mi pupuze'ico'a fazri'u lei selbigra'u .i oicai mi pu malfunca .i le pu nanca mi na klama lo jbosalci ki'u le terbilmr,LAIMe .i mi puze'u gekcau .ica mo bo ni'o mi puzico'adi'a tadni le lojban .ija'e mi zidi'a kanro .i mi di'a cintrina .i pu'acai mi caca'aco'a jibrysisku co zanseltalsa .ijebo pe'a lei smani baca'a volyli'a fi lemi ganxo po'a pecu'u la tuerp =================== I will post the translation in a few hours.
