The cobbled together glosser >that I have works well enough to help me read text, albeit >slowly. Nora is still working on her glosser, and it is also awaiting John Cowan's release of the new parser (which it requires and works in tandem with). It will probably meet everyone's needs at the level being discussed in this thread, though it does not look up words in the lujvo dictionaries. No doubt it will need some tweaking of the keywords and gloss words to make optimal sense. But it DOES do word look up and includes the grammar as reported by the parser. We may also release an ungrammatical text glosser that just does the word lookup, but that won't be nearly as pretty. When Cowan posts his parser, we can probably put up the glosser within a couple of days. The glosser alas is in Turbo Pascal (pre-Windows version) and hence is probably not as portable as other languages might be. But we are enhancing old software that is already written in that language. lojbab ---- lojbab lojbab@access.digex.net Bob LeChevalier, President, The Logical Language Group, Inc. 2904 Beau Lane, Fairfax VA 22031-1303 USA 703-385-0273 Artificial language Loglan/Lojban: ftp.access.digex.net /pub/access/lojbab or see Lojban WWW Server: href="http://xiron.pc.helsinki.fi/lojban/" Order _The Complete Lojban Language_ - see our Web pages or ask me.
