Why not refer to the Dao as "la'e zo dao"? This preserves a level of
vagueness which makes it all the more absurd should someone attempt to
exclusively dictate its meaning and nature.

(Look at all the syllables Lojban saves us: in English we would have to
say "What I mean by the word 'Dao'", which is too long to be used
repeatedly.)

Let me also ask how it was determined that certain religions (cultures,
animals, etc) got their own gismu, while the rest will have to suffer with
fu'ivla and lujvo?
