there's been a little talk recently on how to learn gismu. here is 
something i find helpful for rafsi: turn lujvo-making into a game. see 
how many (usable) words you can create for a given criterion. for 
instance. there's a kind of lujvo i call "stuttering"--where the 1st 
rafsi ends with the same consonant that the 2nd rafsi begins with. these 
are fun to say. 2 of them together is really something!

the first one i ever made was ZASYSPO 'temporarily-destroy'. as it 
happens, 2 fairly important lujvo "stutter": the word for pre-Rafsi 
Shift lojban (MIJYJBO--unless someone has a better suggestion!?), & 
'email' (SAMYMRI). 

others: FAMYMA'O 'trailing-cmavo', KARCYCAU 'carless one', DATYTSANI 
'other-sky' (i have used for a functional equivalent to "Dream Time" of 
aboriginal mythology), VANYNEI 'wine-fond', TERYRANMI 'mythos', 
SELDASYSRO 'closet', NU PAVYVLA SO'IRSMU 'polysemy', PAMYMRO ZGIKE 
'lovedeath music' (="Liebestod"), LIZYZI'E 'the experience of being
