No, you don't understand. That was just a sample sentence. My problem is not
the 'this', but the 'is'.

Let's try, "This is the language".

"This is a language" would be "ti bangu".
"This is *the* language" should be something like "ti <something> le bangu",
since 'le bangu' is not a selbri.
