Two suggestions: 1) Check out the in-progress set of lessons from Robin Turner, which can be found by link from the Lojban FAQ or from the Lojban Links page. This is fairly close to the Loglan 3 Primer in level. 2) The Lojban draft textbook is old and incomplete and drafty, but is more oriented towards those who want graded lessons than is the reference grammar. I myself was not impressed by Loglan 3, even as compared to what I was trying with the Lojban textbook. The discussion reads more like a Schaum's outline for review when you already have been taught the material (containing key points without much explanation), and there are far too few exercises to give sufficient practice at all the vocabulary and grammar principles covered in each lesson. Loglan 3 is however nicer in appearance than our draft textbook. lojbab ---- lojbab lojbab@lojban.org Bob LeChevalier, President, The Logical Language Group, Inc. 2904 Beau Lane, Fairfax VA 22031-1303 USA 703-385-0273 Artificial language Loglan/Lojban: http://www.lojban.org (newly updated!) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ What's the coolest new Web resource?
