It seems you would have to define at least one club to be final a priori to get any consistancy. If we didn't have enough examples here's another one: A precludes membership in all clubs B and C preclude membership in A A is trivially final. Since B precludes membership in A, it is final, if C is not final. A symmetrical argument can be made for C. But if they are both final, they allow membership in each other, and neither is final.
