Actually, you can include images in Texinfo. The problem is that you should include alternatives for people using character-only or speech-only interfaces. ... while texinfo looks like the more easily useable tool, docbook appears to be more feature rich. This is a disadvantage since people tend to use the features that fit their prefered output -- such as high resolution hardcopy printing. ... what about pdf hyperlinks... I don't know about pdf hyperlinks. My experience with PDF is that it is an awkward and inefficient format and I try to avoid it. Other Texinfo output formats provide for hyperlinks. -- Robert J.
