Exact - and this should have been pointed to since long, since AFAIK  {bu'u=
=3D=0D
} never ever appeared to be used in this sense in favour of=20=20
idiomatical(?) {vi}! Why?
le mlatu cu kavbu le smacu vi le panka (which is near/close to the park)
le mlatu cu kavbu le smacu bu'u le panka (at/in the park)
le mlatu cu kavbu le smacu ne'i le panka (in/at the park)

I guess that English speakers (and most speakers of European languages) ten=
=3D=0D
d to prefer the latter, so {bu'u} might be scarcely used=20
for this reason.
In the park/im Park/dans le parc/nel parco/=EEn parcul/a parkban, a d=EDszk=
ertb=3D=0D
en, a ligetben etc.
When actually does occur a need to use {bu'u} for those native speakers??
bu'u le tcidu stuzi (on the square/auf dem Platz etc.) -> ga'u le...???
bu'u le mi stuzi (an meiner Stelle/=E1 mon place - but, in my position/plac=
e,=3D=0D
 =EEn locul meu, a helyemen...) -> ne'i le...???

Anyway, I think it often would be much more lojbanic to use {bu'u} instead.=
