There are probably errors. Indeed, the first word of line 1 should be=20 "te", not "se". Most of the contortion is due to trying the reproduce a Lojban=20 version of the original metrical and rhyme scheme. (Replacing=20 iambs and masculine line endings with anapests and feminine line=20 endings, and replacing full rhyme with partial rhyme.) There was=20 no point me just trying to capture the meaning, for you had done=20 a very elegant job there, and, I'm sure, captured Emily's exquisite=20 diction much much much better. (Nice to know there are Emily fans in Korea and Lojbanistan!) The only bit of nonprescription Lojban I'm aware of is "poi'i",=20 which is a NU but means "poi", i.e. "lo poi'i ...ke'a .... kei" =3D "da=20 poi .... ke'a ... ku'o". "se mu'i gi broda gi brode" =3D "broda, in order that brode". "ka'e gi le firjulne gi ke'a se vimcu" =3D "[if the veil then perhaps the=20 allure] is removed" =3D "if the veil is removed then it could be that the=20 allure is removed". With line one with "te xabju", "lo trina" is in surface x3, underlying=20 x1, i.e. is the inhabitor. Apart from these, I think the rest is in pretty ordinary syntax. --And.
