I don't think a translation is necessary. Most people will know the story. A
translation might be useful if you take a story that is not so commonly
known. And if you use one take natural English translation please.

What I would do is make some tasks to work on the text. For example several
questions like

{lei cribe cu zvati ma}.

Or other stuff like that.

P.S.: Interesting that so many talk about BF, LLG and other stuff but not
about the content or improvement of the idea.
