Isn't "Dalai Lama" a title, like "King", or "President", or "Pope"? If so, it should be a brivla, not a cmene. The Dalai Lama page says: "Dalai is Mongolian for 'ocean', Lama is Tibetan for 'spiritual teacher', hence the translation, 'Ocean of Wisdom'". So it could be a fu'ivla ({jatnrdalailama}, {jdalailama}?), or a lujvo like {xasru'ictu}. > According to the list on Wikipedia, all but the first Dalai Lama had the last > > name "Gyatso". How come? That must be an adopted name. The Dalai Lama page says the current Dalai Lama was born Lhamo Thondup, which means "Wish-Fulfilling Goddess". mu'o mi'e xorxes __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? The New Yahoo!
