But according to the definition in the gi'uste (at least how I read it), traji can also mean "least". So "traji barda" would be ambiguous between "biggest" and "least big", and "traji cmalu" could be "smallest" or "least small". > Respectively, I think of {zmadu} as "exceed", not necessarily bigger. > For example, from my point of view the frase > "x1 zmadu x2 le ka cmalu" is identical to "x1 mleca x2" Yes, I agree. The same as "x1 mleca x2 lo ka barda", but opposite to "x1 mleca x2 lo ka cmalu". > I think, you don't need {zmadu fa'u mleca} in the definition, just > {zmadu} would be enough. My variant: > > ko'a zmadu ja dunli ro cmima be ko'o be'o poi na du ko'a > ku'o ko'e do'e ko'i noi zmadu farna That makes somewhat more sense than the English version. I will change the lojban definition in jbovlaste accordingly if nobody else objects. I still think the x3 is rather pointless, since any property where the direction is important can have it as a part of the property x2. Most properties don't have direction. The worst thing is that this strange x3 place often interferes with the much more useful x4. mu'o mi'e xorxes __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
