The meeting will be called to order at 2200 UTC. That is 3 PM Pacific, 6 PM Eastern, 11 PM British/Irish time, and midnight Western European time. (The rest of you are on your own for conversions.) This meeting will be *strictly* limited to 2 hours, with a closed agenda. In particular, those wishing to become new members are urged to participate. #lojban will be used as the chatter channel, as parliamentary procedures will be in place on #llg. Committee reports, such as they are, can be found at http://www.lojban.org/llg . Officer reports should be there shortly. The following straw votes will be taken (we can't make Bylaw changes this year due to the lack of formal notice): 9a) Direct election of officers by the membership instead of the board 9b) Genericizing the kinds of communications allowed in the by-laws 9c) Abolish proxies, or abolish blind proxies. In addition, we have the following possible new official projects: Worldcon, jboske, Lojban Java list. If anyone has new business to propose, please mention it ASAP. I apologize for the shortness of this notice. -- Some people open all the Windows; John Cowan wise wives welcome the spring cowan@ccil.org by moving the Unix. http://www.reutershealth.com --ad for Unix Book Units (U.K.) http://www.ccil.org/~cowan (see http://cm.bell-labs.com/cm/cs/who/dmr/unix3image.gif)
