The historical (and still current, perhaps) Loglan lujvo was
the equivalent of "nanmu gasnu", much derided by Lojban Central as
sexist (easily fixed) and ill thought out (not so easily fixed).  I
think we need to understand the semantics of this English verb
"man" and find a true equivalent, rather than blindly calquing it.

Presumably you want an ad hoc structure like x1 is the union of set x2
and set x3, or x1 is the union of the set of sets x2.
