I think x3 is the destination address, not the recipient. Consider letters to Santa Claus or junk mail addressed to "Occupant": they don't really have recipients. In the U.S., what happens to letters to Santa is a local issue: some post offices deliver them to various volunteers and charities. You can also get a letter *from* Santa delivered by enclosing it in a larger envelope addressed to: North Pole Christmas Cancellation Postmaster 5400 Mail Trail Fairbanks AK 99709-9998 Both envelopes must have sufficient postage and must be received by December 15.
