NANmu". The pause is required, it says, because otherwise it could confuse someone about NAN being the first syllable of nanmu. But isn't this ambiguity taken care of by nanmu's CVC/CV form? Why is the pause necessary in addition? Chris Capel -- "What is it like to be a bat? What is it like to bat a bee? What is it like to be a bee being batted?
