But Old Russian alphabet has 44 letters and new has 33. But in the American alphabet only 24 letters. It is still less in lojban. It means one Russian letter necessary to transfer by several American. But more rational it would be make vice versa. As the base to take the Russian alphabet, but not American alphabet.
