I broke the ice by performing "I'm A Little Teapot" in Lojban (with the motions). I explained how Lojban relates to Robert Heinlein, Robert Anton Wilson and Yoda, even remotely and really stretching it. I mentioned the history, the YACC grammar, and the variety of motivations to learn Lojban. Other than the standard things like phonetics and grammar (for which I used the analogy of a space station), I covered swearing and insults in Lojban, explained how Supermemo works, and showed the resources and software that are available on the web. At least three people are interested in starting a monthly Lojban class. -la epkat _______________________________________________________ Sent through e-mol.
