I here propose a game system with rankings which will develop Lojban in this sense. What I would like to know from you is how difficult it is to realize such a system. = GAME SYSTEM FOR LOJBAN = 0. This online game requires a server, logins and passwords for players. 1. Every player has three options: - To post new English phrases/sentences to translate - To translate English sentences posted by other players to Lojban - To verify and value (by putting his grade) the translations of others. 2. The system balances these activities for every player - by not allowing doing only one thing without doing the rest two. 3. Ranking of players is performed by summing values of translations made by this player. 4. Value of a translation made by player averages upon grades put on this translation by other players, taking into account rankings of those who have put these grades. 5. The system must recalculate the values of translations and rankings of players over certain period of time (e.g. hourly). The system may be tuned by introducing "difficulty factors" and other staff, but that would have made the letter too long. mi'e .ianis.
