As I understand, one should generally avoid lV'i, as one generally doesn't want to talk about the set of X *as a set*, but that lVi can be good? What about {su'o}, used alone? (It parses.) Other ways? If I'm not completely mistaken, it would be preferable to use lVi in situations where the group of things as a group, collectively, have some property or take some action, and {su'o} in situations where they individually do so?
