Sure, that sounds like a gee whiz cool technical solution. The main problem is that we haven't reached the singularity. That is--we still have to work, pee, and poo. So, realistically, I'd like to join in to test my audio chops. All of us being atheist transhumanist survivalist self-lovers, we use some free VOIP, right? I'd like to join in. .gy. la lojban .uacai Quoting Matt Arnold : I have discovered a way to coordinate online meetings of the Lojban community around our busy schedules. It has three simple steps. 1. Follow http://www.meetomatic.com/respond.asp?id=M5D1FG to a page where you can select the AMs and PMs (eastern standard time) that work for you, from a date range I have set of November 1 through November 17. There's nothing to download, and there's no registration or login! 2. The site has assigned me a page on which I monitor the progress until enough of you have declared your available days and nights. 3. I announce the date that won the most votes. We'll hold a simultaneous Town Hall meeting of Lojban enthusiasts on Teamspeak and IRC. I schedule a _lot_ of meetings, for a variety of conventions, parties, and organizations I'm a part of. In the past, I would guess at a date to schedule them, and only a handful would be able to show up. "If only a piece of web software would help me figure out when to schedule meetings for the maximum availability of those I invite!" I knew there had to be something like Meet-O-Matic out there, and I kept searching until I found it. I predict we'll use it a lot, for Teamspeak, IRC, samxarmuj, and offline local meetings. -epkat To unsubscribe from this list, send mail to lojban-list-request@lojban.org with the subject unsubscribe, or go to http://www.lojban.org/lsg2/, or if you're really stuck, send mail to secretary@lojban.org for help.
