Interesting. Will you generalize to the point that humans cannot detect *any* given syllables in a stream of words they're just going to pronounce, even after a training? Do you think there is a technical limitation of human brains causing this? Strange... As far as I know and judge from myself and others, human brains can do much more difficult tasks in the realtime. As an example, let's consider a game where players must in turns say sentences, replacing all occurences of sound [i] with sound, say, [u]. He who misses less [i]s, wins. Do you think people won't get learned to play this game?
