I almost certainly would not enter any {ni'o} into the text sent to the parser. All my manipulations, except for changing some characters to space, happen to the parse tree, or by modifying the parser itself. And what I'm thinking of here is detecting double line breaks only at the end of statements, so your text above (if it were in lojban) would still parse as a single statement.
